60th Expanded Brand

Carl’s Drive-In is a St. Louis classic. For over 60 years, Carl’s has served up their famous smash burgers and homemade frosty root beer on historic Route 66. Not much has changed from the opening of Carl’s including their 16 stool dine-in bar.

Challenge:
To keep their historic look and feel and expand on Carl’s branding with a custom 60th logo, expanded color palette, fonts, illustrations and messaging.

Result:
An immediate positive response on social media from their fan base which continues to grow each day. As well as an expanded brand that will work well after their 60th all while keeping the same aesthetics that makes Carl’s, Carl’s.

We provided Carl’s with:

  • Two logos to be used on various applications

  • Updated social media designs + postings
  • 60th branding merch + illustrations (including shirts)
